Contraforma is where I think in public. A publishing practice/experiment that began during the pandemic and grew into my favorite way to share experiences and build connections. Some issues are more polished, others are lo-fi notes. Most live somewhere between visual culture, feminist critique, and behind-the-scenes from my independent type design practice. Issued monthly (more or less). Written with care over schedule.
Welcome to our new home. The plan is to eventually move all content to my own site, but for now, Substack feels more sustainable than Mailchimp. Voice and spirit stay the same, but I’m excited to explore some new formats. As always, my DMs are open for critiques, ideas, or stories of your own 💌
